In a nutshell, Otterbeck Builders is a company that can provide you with the necessary design and planning, the actual construction, follow up service and the warrantee of your remodeling project.

Types of projects we specialize in include: Whole house remodels, Additions, Kitchen and Bath remodeling, Basement finishing, Decks and Porches, Window and Siding replacement and some Home Maintenance & Repair work.

Our market place of work includes most of the Capital Region area. Including: Albany County, Rensselear County, northern Columbia County and southern Saratoga County.

Design:

Regardless of what type of remodeling project you’re thinking about, all projects will start with design. At Otterbeck Builders, using our many years of experience, we can help you design your next remodeling project. Depending on the type of project you are planning, we will either help you in house using our CAD systems, refer you to a designer that we work with (i.e. kitchens), or provide you with design through one of several architects that we have relationships with. Design is the most important part of the remodeling process. We want your project to look good and work well for you as much as you do.

Planning:

	The next step is planning your project. This is also a very important process. We will supply you with a package of all the names of the company’s we work with in order to make the material and product selection phase as quick and painless as possible. Depending on what type of project you are planning, there can be many choices and/or selections to make. There are a ton of products out there to choose from, some new, some old. Some of the products are very expensive and it’s important to know that “things” are going to work. We will help you select, coordinate and order the appropriate material for you project.

At OBI we will also plan the production of your project. We use a combination of “in house” labor and a small network of reliable subcontractors to complete your project on time and on budget. We will also permit your project and schedule the required building inspections.

Construction:

This is the exciting part. The work actually begins. At OBI we have the staff and a network of subcontractors necessary to complete your project safely, on time and on budget with the least amount of inconvenience to you and your family. We provide an overview showing what work will be done when, how long it will take and whom it will be done by. You will always know what to expect and who will be working at your house.

Warrantee:

After your project is complete, we will provide you with whatever follow up service you need. All you have to do is call the office and schedule a time for a technician to come to your home. Sometimes “adjustments” need to be made, especially after the first heating season. You can rest easy knowing that we will be there for you and your project free of charge for two complete years after you job is complete!
